Leicester Tigers RFC

Leicester Tigers RFC

Leicester Tigers are investing £8million in the redevelopment of the west side of the Welford Road stadium and construction is underway for a new West Stand which will replace the current Clubhouse building dating back to 1909.

This three-storey uniquely shaped building will include 3100 seats, club offices, main ticket office, a premium season ticket lounge, a Tigers retail shop, stadium big screen, stadium control tower, as well as a concourse area that will house Tigers heritage, food kiosks and public bars. The new West Stand will bring the stadium’s capacity to just under 26,000.

RAF Lyneham – Project Hercules – Phase 1

Project Hercules is a new build construction of a specialist defence training college. It is a 50:50 joint venture between Kier Group and Balfour Beatty. The development is to transform the former RAF airbase into a new Armed Forces Training Facility for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (D.I.O.). Buildings consist of new single living accommodation for military trainees and purpose built enhanced training facilities for over 1,100 trainees and 800 staff. This is a combined services training facility – Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

Abell & Cleland House

Development is the new building construction of 275, 1-3 bedroom luxury apartments on a site in the heart of Westminster that was previously occupied by vacant government office buildings.

Project was started in a May 2013 and is due for completion in the summer/Autumn of 2016.

Abel House consists of approximately 6000m of sealant work and Cleland House of 8000m approximately.

Witham Leisure Centre

Project is the new build construction of a £9.5 million multi-facility leisure centre, commissioned by Braintree District Council.

In the swimming hall it provides a 6 lane 25m pool as well as a learner pool with moveable floor and an overlooking spectator viewing area. The leisure centre also provides a fitness suite, 2 squash courts and 2 dance studios as well as a sauna, a steam room and 2 further treatment rooms for physiotherapy and beauty therapy.

Royal Tank Regiment Association

Royal Tank Regiment Association

Project is the new build construction of a vehicle maintenance warehouse and surrounding access areas within the existing army base. The site is part of the Royal Tank Regiment Association and is used for Tank Training.

The mastic work required was the internal and external sealing if the concrete floor slab some areas of which will be subject to heavy vehicle trafficking.

Millennium Stadium

Millennium Stadium

Stadium is 15 years old and was experiencing water ingress through the concrete terracing, as some of the expansion joints had failed from the original application. The project is based over a year and a half approximately, and is to cut out and reseal all expansion joints and other required areas on all three stadium tiers. This is to be split over different phases to accommodate the stadium being used for events – Rugby League World Cup and Rugby Union Six Nations etc.
